Core attendance policy

Member Attendance Policy

Core members are expected to attend every meeting. Meetings are scheduled in advance with input from all members and the Guide to account for everyone’s busy schedules. If a member consistently misses their Core Group meetings, it will affect the quality of their experience and ability to participate going forward.

  • If a member misses M1 and M2, they’ll be automatically removed from the Core G`roup.

  • If a member misses two meetings within a year, the Concierge team will reach out and ask if the member would like to continue their Core journey.

  • If a member misses three meetings within a year, the member is at risk of removal. In most cases, Chief will reach out to the Guide to inquire about the member’s level of engagement in Core prior to their removal. Guides can also flag a member for removal in their Meeting Recap.

If a member has an unavoidable conflict and needs to miss a meeting, they should reach out using the ‘Contact Us’ button on the Help and Support page on Chief.com. If more than 50% of the group cannot make the upcoming meeting and it is more than 48 hours before the meeting, Chief will support in rescheduling the meeting for another date. Please fill out the rescheduling form to alert the Chief team.

Guide Attendance Policy

Core Guides are expected to be on time to each Core meeting and to be present for their full duration. If no members attend a Core meeting (after waiting for 20 minutes) you may end the call. Guides will need to work with members and Chief to reschedule a no-show meeting. As of January 1, 2025, Guides will not be compensated for a meeting in which no members attended.

Guides must be present for the first meeting (M1) of their assigned Core Group. If a Guide is unable to attend M1, they will be removed from that Core Group, and a new Guide would be assigned. If a Guide cannot make 3 or more consecutive meetings, the Guide might be removed from that group.

If a Guide cannot make a scheduled Core meeting, the Guide is responsible for identifying a new date that works for the group, or finding a Guide substitute utilizing the process outlined in the Substitution Process page. Once you identify a substitute, please use the Core Meeting Rescheduling / Substitute Request Form to alert the team.
