Expectations and Standards
Section 1 | Respect
As a Chief Guide, I:
1. Will engage thoughtfully within the Chief community — including the Chief team, members, and other Guides, at all times.
2. Will be intentional and treat all members, Chief team members, and other Guides in our community with dignity — Show consideration, care and empathy for others. Recognize and honor the unique identities and backgrounds within our community.
3. Will exhibit self-awareness and engage constructively — Be mindful of context, language, and tone. Listen to and approach different perspectives with an open mind. Remain open to feedback and own my mistakes.
4. Understand that I play a pivotal role in shaping the experiences and perceptions of our members and will maintain a positive attitude when concerns or conflict arise within Core and the Chief community.
5. Will respond appropriately to the concerns and ideas of members and the Chief community as a whole.
6. Respect the timing and commitment of my members and will show up on time and prepared for Core meetings.
Section 2 | Confidentiality
As a Chief Guide, I:
7. Will never use, sell or share any member and company information, and/or content for personal or professional gain.
8. Will not share any details about the Chief network, including member information, member experience, processes or group changes, without written approval.
9. Will not record Core group meetings, events / meetups, and other Chief interactions without consent from every party. This constraint encompasses a range of artificial recording methods and similar technologies. See our Zoom AI Notetaker Policy.
Section 3 | Solicitation
As a Chief Guide, I:
10. Will not post and promote my business for self gain in digital spaces, in Core, or with members individually.
11. Will not post content requesting monetary donations (fundraising, crowdfunding, etc).
12. Am prohibited from using Chief for personal gain. This includes, but is not limited to, selling products or services from my businesses, or soliciting attendees for personal events or functions, including selling tickets to such events.
13. Understand that I cannot offer 1:1 services to any current member of Chief, outside of Chief’s terms.
14. For any sharing of services, we provide a dedicated platform called 'Guides Marketplace' on chief.com, designed to facilitate these exchanges. Please note that this should not be confused with the Member Marketplace, which is a designated space exclusively for members.
Section 4 | Inclusion
As a Chief Guide, I:
14. Practice self awareness of my own identity and curiosity about how this informs my interactions.
15. Practice openness and willingness to learn and unlearn in ways that drive inclusion.
16. Will create spaces where all individuals feel valued, respected and supported, regardless of their background, identity, or circumstances. And ensure that diverse perspectives are welcome and considered.
Enforcement: Code of Ethics
All the guidelines listed above are baseline expectations for the community and should be followed in all settings and spaces within Chief (Clubhouses, virtual environments, Core, etc.). Please exercise thoughtfulness and judgment on behaviors that contribute to and harm our community.

Report violations: If a community post or other observed Guide conduct violates our guidelines, please report it directly to guides@chief.com and the Chief Guides team will review and take action when appropriate.
We reserve the right to revisit our Code of Ethics guidelines at any time.
Pledge
As a Chief Guide, I understand and agree to meet my ethical and legal responsibilities to my members, colleagues, and the public, following the Chief Guide Code of Ethics. If I violate any part of this code, I accept that Chief has the right to hold me responsible.
