How to submit an invoice

Guides are responsible for submitting accurate and timely invoices to Chief. Terms of payment and rate are outlined in the Guide’s most recent contract. All fees are payable thirty (30) days upon Chief’s receipt of Contractor’s invoice. It is the Contractor's sole responsibility to provide invoices in a timely manner Please send one invoice per month, including all billable services, as a PDF, to accountspayable@chief.com.

All invoices must include:

  • Guide’s full name

  • LLC name (if applicable)

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Mailing address

Invoicing policy reminders:

  • Please only submit one invoice per month, including all billable services. This invoice should include fees for Core meetings and any 1:1 Coaching or Advisory Sessions that were delivered that month. 

  • Invoices will only be approved once meeting attendance is submitted. Please make sure to submit all attendance within 48 hours of each Core meeting. 

  • Chief’s updated no-show policy states that Guides will not be compensated for meetings where no members attend. We encourage Guides to prioritize rescheduling when members are unable to attend a scheduled Core meeting.

  • All meetings, including M1, should be invoiced at the same rate. The rate is per session, not per hour. 

  • The invoice should be sent as a PDF to accountspayable@chief.com.


Submission guidelines:

List each Core meeting, advisory session, executive coaching session, and/or misc. support as a separate line item.

  • For Core meetings and advisory sessions, the recap must be filled out before your invoice can be approved.

All Core meetings - including M1 - should be invoiced at the same rate. If needed, you can find your session rate in your contract or reach out to guides@chief.com.

Submission reminders:

  • It is the Contractor's sole responsibility to provide invoices in a timely manner (i.e., one invoice per month, including all billable services, by the end of the month).

  • Do not bill in advance of Core Group meetings.

  • If you were a substitute Guide for a Core meeting please include ‘Guide sub’ in the line item for Core.

  • Recaps (Core and Advisory Sessions) and forms (Executive Coaching) must be submitted for invoice approval.

  • Fees are payable 30 days upon Chief's receipt of the invoice.
