Core meeting attendance and no-show meetings
Core attendance is a huge driving factor in overall engagement and member satisfaction.
Core Meeting Attendance Expectations
Guides (and members) are expected to be on time and present for the full duration of each Core meeting. Guides are responsible for communicating with members about upcoming meetings, commitment to the group, and any known absences. If no members attend a Core meeting, after waiting for 20 minutes, Guides have the option to reschedule the meeting for a later date but will not be paid for any no-show sessions. Attendance is a crucial part of the overall Core experience and Guides are responsible for proactively working with their members to address the need to reschedule a meeting. Please see the rescheduling page for guidance on rescheduling an upcoming Core meeting.
Additionally, Guides must be present for the first meeting (M1) of their assigned Core group. If a Guide is unable to attend M1, Chief will remove the Guide from that Core group and assign a new Guide.
🗓️ Effective January 1, 2025:
Prioritize rescheduling a Core meeting when members cannot attend; we have updated our rescheduling policy to be more flexible to accommodate this.
Chief will not pay Guides for meetings where no members are in attendance.
🤝 Please continue to:
Be proactive in communicating with your members about their commitment and availability.
Use the rescheduling form to communicate rescheduling requests with the Chief team.
