Concierge, Onboarding Managers, and Community Managers

Chief’s Concierge team (formerly known as the Member Experience team) comprises a variety of internal roles focused on and dedicated to helping members navigate and maximize their Chief membership experience.

Their goal is to help members maximize their Chief experience. From personalized onboarding to continuous guidance, every member of the Concierge team parnters with members to navigate their Chief membership.


The three main teams that you should know about as a Guide are:

🤝 CONCIERGE TEAM:

Formerly known as the Member Experience team, this is a dedicated team that supports members throughout their Chief journey by providing individualized support for all of their Chief needs. Members can always reach out to the Concierge team by emailing concierge@chief.com or clicking the “Contact Us” button on the Help and Support page on Chief.com.

Examples of questions that the Concierge team can help answer:

  • I’ve been a Chief member for 6 months and I feel like I’m not getting the most out of my membership. What suggestions do you have?

  • I want to host an event. How do I do this?

  • I’d like to learn more about Executive Coaching, Executive Education, or Core Premium - can I get more info?

  • I’m unsure whether or not I want to renew my membership - can I talk to someone at Chief?

  • My company stopped paying for my membership. What options for funding do I have?

  • I would like to make a change to my Core Group. Can I be placed in a new Core Group?

  • I would like to nominate a friend/coworker to be a Chief member. How do I do this?

  • Can I make a reservation at the Clubhouse?


👋 ONBOARDING MANAGERS:

A Dedicated team within the Concierge organization that is focused on onboarding members to Chief during their first three months of membership. They help members understand all of the aspects of Chief and work with members to craft a plan for them to get the most out of their membership. The Onboarding Managers generally support members through their first or second Core meeting. Members are encouraged to set up a call with an Onboarding Manager when they join Chief, though it is optional.

Examples of questions that the Onboarding Manager can help answer:

  • I’m new to Chief and I don’t know where to start!

  • Help! There’s so much on the Chief app - and I need help navigating it.

  • I just joined and I want to go to the Clubhouse for the first time… how do I do it?

  • When do I hear about my Core Group?

  • When is my first Core meeting?

  • Who can I expect to be in my Core Group?


🏙️ COMMUNITY MANAGERS:

Chief’s Community Managers primarily focus on fostering strong in-person connections among members in their respective metro areas. They play a crucial role in understanding and responding to the needs and desires of their local community, helping to cultivate a supportive and engaging environment. Their pivotal role ensures that the community not only grows but also thrives through active participation and meaningful engagement.

Examples of what Community Managers do at Chief:

  • Build community connections among members.

  • Stay attuned to members' desires and needs to foster more meaningful local connections.

  • Curate a calendar of in-person experiences based on feedback inspired by the community’s ideas and suggestions.

  • Coordinate and oversee various activities, including Roundtables, Local Gatherings, Community aspects of ChiefX, and 1-1 Local Connections.
