As a Guide, you play a meaningful role in shaping the future of Chief. We’ve made it easier than ever to nominate new Chief members and have some exciting incentives for both members and Guides who nominate someone who then joins Chief.

Locating the Nominations Page

You can find the Nomination page on members.chief.com. After you log in, there is a button at the top of the page to take you to the Nomination Page. It is between the “Member Perks” button and the “Search” icon at the top of the site. 

Please note that this Nominations page is intended exclusively for prospective leaders who have no prior history of membership with Chief.

Re-Engaging Chief Alumni

If there are former members in your orbit who would benefit from Chief in this moment, they simply need to:

  • Reach out to alumni@chief.com 

  • Mention your name in the email

Referral Incentives

Guide Incentives: 

Guides will receive a $50 gift card for every new member who joins, and every former member who reinstates their membership on your recommendation. You will also receive the Chief swag incentives along the way. Please note that Guides have different nomination incentives than members.

Member Incentives: 

Members will receive Chief swag for each referral who joins Chief. For a limited time, members can receive a one-time, one-month membership credit for the first member they refer who joins, and that member will also get a free month. This offer ends on June 30th.

FAQ

  • Chief Members and Guides can submit nominations in two ways. 1) The easiest way is the new self-serve referral link (see below), which lives on the nominations page.

    With this process, you can send the form directly to the nominee (who will then fill it out). 2) If they already have the nominee’s information, they can also continue to use the form embedded in the same nominations page. 

  • If you nominate someone through the embedded form, they will receive an email notification. If you share a referral link, they will receive a confirmation once they fill out the form themselves. 

    After that, if the nominees are qualified, they will be invited to a call with a Membership Manager (MM). They can then move forward and decide if they officially want to join Chief. If they are not qualified (or on the fence), our team asks them to apply formally using this form so we can collect additional information. Based on their response, they either move forward to an MM call or are noted as unqualified at the moment. Either way, they will receive communication from our team.

  • Nominators receive a “nomination confirmation” email outlining the rest of the process. They are also notified a) if their nominee is qualified or is not qualified, and b) if they officially join Chief. 

  • Yes. We have updated this process so that Chief Members now get email notifications letting them know:

    • That their nomination has been submitted (or that a nomination has submitted a form and booked a call through their referral link), and what they can expect throughout the rest of the process

    • Whether their nominee is qualified or unqualified 

    • If their nominee officially joins Chief

  • Yes, nominees are notified via email if they are qualified or unqualified. 

  • Incentives are ongoing, except for the 1 complimentary month. This offer ends June 30, 2026.

  • Incentive gifts are sent out on a biweekly basis.

  • No. No matter how many of their nominations join Chief, the nominator only gets one free month added to their membership.
